The Famous Grouse, renowned for creating blended Scotch Whiskey in Scotland – where the grouse, Scotland’s national game bird, lives – had established a reputation as one of the world’s leading whiskey blends. Recognising the significance of high quality packaging in the drinks industry, The Famous Grouse approached us to create attractive, eco-friendly presentation packaging for their premium new cocktail kit. The objective was to design packaging that not only elevated the visual appeal but was also functional and environmentally friendly. The custom fitments were designed to securley accommodate the cocktail kit contents.
Drinks Presentation Packaging Specifications
The premium fluted packaging, created from slightly thicker E-flute cardboard, features internal dimensions of 400mm in length, 270mm in width, and 80mm in diameter. This design ensures that all components of the cocktail kit are nestled within the custom cardboard fitment. These materials demonstrate The Famous Grouse’s dedication to recyclabe practices.
To mirror The Famous Grouse’s elegant brand identity, the exterior of the cocktail kit boasts a full digital colour print, enhanced with anti-scuff lamination to preserve its immaculate appearance. The print, a striking mix of autumnal colours, is strategically chosen to ensure immediate brand recognition; designed to captivate the recipients from the moment they open the cocktail kit.
Bespoke Mailer Boxes
Incorporating custom mailer boxes is a strategic investment for businesses aiming to elevate their brand image and increase the perceived value of their products. The Famous Grouse chose mailer boxes created from kraft paper, designed to complement their presentation packaging, which achieved an elegant appearance.
